Job Summary
Lead sourcing projects within the defined procurement scope and act as the key interface between product development and external suppliers. Plan, control, monitor, and report on complex coating projects while managing supplier interfaces to ensure reliable delivery. Coordinate work packages and facilitate collaboration between suppliers and ZEISS SMT to track tasks and milestones. Identify and plan project-specific development needs on the supplier side, aligning them within the wider team. Provide functional leadership for cross-functional teams at the interface to external partners, working closely with R&D, Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing. Establish systematic stakeholder management for internal and external stakeholders. This three-year limited duration role requires fluent German and English, with national and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in a technical or natural science discipline
- Solid professional experience
- Extensive project management experience
- Experience in complex procurement or sourcing projects
- Experience in close cooperation with suppliers
- Methodical and structured work style
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Business-fluent German language skills
- Business-fluent English language skills

- Ideally in Surface Engineering / Coating Technology
