Job Summary
Senior field-leadership role overseeing 2–3 active residential ground-up, brownstone renovation, and full-gut projects in the Boston area; lead from the field to drive projects from startup through closeout. Responsibilities include leading daily field operations, managing subcontractors, schedules, inspections, quality control, safety, RFIs, punch lists, closeout, and owner communication; overseeing project execution, identifying issues early, and proactively solving problems in the field. Requires extensive experience with ground-up multifamily projects, historic renovations, and complex urban residential work; ability to independently manage multiple active projects; proficient with Procore, Buildertrend, Excel, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
Required Qualifications
- Lead daily field operations across 2–3 active Boston-area projects
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, inspections, quality control, and safety
- Coordinate documentation, RFIs, punch lists, closeout, and owner communication
- Oversee project execution from startup through final completion
- Identify project issues early and proactively solve problems in the field
- Maintain strong communication with ownership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Minimum 5+ years of construction experience
- 10+ years of Boston-area construction experience strongly preferred
- Strong experience with ground-up multifamily, brownstone renovations, and full-gut residential projects
- Ability to independently manage 2–3 active projects
- Experience with Procore, Buildertrend, Excel, MS Project, and Bluebeam preferred
- 15–20+ years of construction experience preferred
