Job Summary
Conduct daily reviews of contract drawings, shop drawings, and 3-week look-ahead schedules to verify site implementation and manage execution strategies for self-performed and subcontracted works. Lead project teams including Construction Managers and Superintendents through weekly meetings, Pre-Activity Meetings, and schedule updates to ensure delivery within baseline budget and timeline. Enforce Health & Safety protocols by auditing sites, managing risk assessments, reporting incidents, and coordinating with regulatory bodies for corrective actions. Requires P.Eng and 6+ years of civil construction experience with bridge and dam projects. Based in Ontario or Alberta with travel across Canada for $10M-$100M projects.
Required Qualifications
- Civil or Structural Engineering degree or diploma
- 6+ years' experience within a similar role/industry
- Bridge experience
- P.Eng
- Experience working with MTO
- Must be open to travel within Canada
