Job Summary
Project Manager - Strategy & Planning role to guide enterprise priorities, capital planning, and portfolio governance. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, leading, facilitating, providing status reports, and ensuring stability of project management processes and methodologies; developing and executing project plans (SOWs, work plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables); identifying resources and assigning roles; and acting as a consultant/advisor to leadership on quality improvement tools. Requires collaboration with senior leaders, facilities IT, and operations, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and strategic impact.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years progressive work experience to include managing multiple projects, business process analysis, or process improvement projects
- High school education or equivalent is required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare/nursing administration, industrial engineering, industrial/organizational psychology, organizational development, or related field, OR PMP certification from PMI OR Green Belt/Black Belt certification from ASQ by July 1, 2015 required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate conversations
- Able to lead, motivate, and direct a workgroup
- Preferred qualifications include project management experience in IT, industrial engineering, supply chain, or healthcare quality improvement; Lean principles knowledge; PMP certification or Green/Black Belt certifications; Experience with Lean Principles; Statistical coursework; Healthcare experience; Licensed RN or compact state license if applicable
