Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and manage infrastructure construction projects from pre-construction through closeout in Chicagoland, including developing schedules and budgets, reviewing blueprints and specs, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids, directing field crews, managing change orders, preparing project reports, and supporting closeout with invoicing and final documentation. Requires collaboration with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, effective communication, strong organization and negotiation skills, and travel to job sites. Hybrid role based in South Chicagoland with regular site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction or infrastructure
- Experience with utility, telecom, or data center infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of sequencing/coordination in construction
- Ability to interpret construction documents and manage project controls
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to job sites
