Job Summary
Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of heavy civil and transit work. Determine labor, tools, equipment, and material needs while overseeing permit approvals, inspections, and procurement based on production lead times. Participate in securing new work through estimating, project interviewing, and design coordination, including constructability reviews and value engineering. Maintain regular communication with field coordinators to enforce safety requirements and quality control standards. Report project status regularly through meetings and written correspondence. Manage priorities independently within a collaborative, employee-owned business model.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years related experience required with experience managing/supervising heavy civil and transit work
- Experience managing projects at $50 million+ in value
- Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions
- Proficient in Excel and Office Suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid Driver's License required
- Travel will be required

- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of
- Basic competence in subordinates' duties and tasks
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

- Experience with a wide variety of software and platforms are not required but may help your candidacy which may include the following: Cloud-based collaborative software, Teams, Smartsheet, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, P6, Primavera Cloud, ProCore, etc..
