Job Summary
Plan and manage highly complex engineering projects for PLXS-ENG customers. Lead the customer development process in winning new business and develop repeat business. Identify work packages for sharing across design centers; manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables; drive financial execution and revenue projection; coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and third-party suppliers to ensure Plexus designs are successfully introduced into Plexus Manufacturing Solutions sites. Develop future Plexus leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 8 or more years of related experience preferred
- Possesses a detailed understanding and extensive experience in at least one discipline (e.g. analog, digital, mechanical, software, PCB, test) of electronic product development
- Possess a detailed understanding of the product development and product realization processes
- Possess good project management skills and knowledge of management principles
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Possess strong team building and team leadership skills
- Possess strong organizational, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle demanding schedules including travel to customer sites
- Possess conflict resolution and negotiation skills
