Job Summary
Develop comprehensive project plans for intricate customer orders, outlining tasks, milestones, and resource requirements. Act as the central point of contact for all order-related inquiries, escalations, and channel partner updates within industrial manufacturing. Manage customer documentation and submittals per Vendor Document Requirements while collaborating with finance to ensure accurate invoicing. Work closely with Application Engineering and Commercial teams during quote evaluations and travel to customer sites for project kickoffs and status updates. Execute or delegate specific duties to designated team members to oversee, coordinate, and successfully complete large-scale industrial endeavors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical-based discipline) from a four-year college or university
- 5-10 years in Project Management within a manufacturing setting, specifically handling highly complex projects
- Position involving the management of highly complex projects using advanced tactical and operational project management skills
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams towards successful project outcomes
- Proficient in managing concurrent responsibilities and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic setting
- Adeptness in swiftly adapting to changing topics and requirements
- Travel on an as required basis with the outside sales team and to customer sites for project kickoffs and status updates (~10% of time)
- Skilled in MS Project, MS Tools, and MRP Systems
- Use of the appropriate PPE is required
- Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and loud noise level while on the production floor
Desired Qualifications
- PMP, PMI certification a plus
