Job Summary
Laurel, MD-based Project Manager leads a construction project for a government campus with on-site work five days a week. Oversees construction-related activities, coordinates with the COR, and manages day-to-day project management including scheduling, design reviews, and contractor submittals. Develops solutions to field problems, drafts responses to change orders, prepares statements of work and cost estimates for contracts/modifications, and supports acquisition phases. Requires a four-year degree in construction management or civil engineering (or equivalent), 20+ years of PM experience on commercial/government construction, PM on projects over $50M, U.S. citizenship, and a current Secret clearance; capable of reading drawings/specifications and communicating effectively.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Current Secret clearance
- Four-year degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience)
- Minimum of 20 years of project management experience on commercial or Government construction projects
- Project management experience on projects over $50 million
- Ability to read and understand engineering and architectural drawings and specifications
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex design and construction projects
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
