Job Summary
Lead multi-functional teams to execute projects of varying complexity by defining, planning, tracking, and managing key deliverables while ensuring appropriate documentation is prepared throughout the lifecycle. Manage a portfolio of projects from initiation through completion, utilizing PM tools to prepare, track, and report status to management, and drive deliverables to meet ship timing. Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Engineering teams to identify resource needs, analyze risks, and develop contingency plans. Facilitate weekly multi-functional meetings, conduct design reviews, and lead portfolio review/prioritization discussions to drive project decisions and continuous PMO improvement. This hybrid role is based in Princeton, NJ, requiring in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Candidates require 8+ years of CPG industry experience and strong project management skills.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (science preferred, but not required) from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of CPG industry experience (preferably R&D, Operations or Engineering) within project management
- OTC or regulated product categories experience
- Project Management skills (MS Project, Gantt charts, cross-functional leadership)
- Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel Spreadsheets, Word, etc)
- Experience successfully handling a portfolio of projects
- Experience leading multi-functional team in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with experience presenting to Sr. Management
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Critical thinking and decision-making skill
- Hybrid: The role will be based in Princeton, NJ and requires in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certified preferred but not required
- Familiarity with a Stage and Gate product development process preferred
