Job Summary
Manage special projects, repair requests, and scope walks from initial client contact through proposal phases to field hand-off and accounting close. Lead the preconstruction process including site surveys, subcontractor selection, and client proposal preparation. Coordinate acquisition of permits, negotiate pricing, and process subcontract documents or purchase orders. Develop budgets, designate resources, and oversee progress while ensuring work requests complete on schedule. Communicate weekly update reports and verify timesheet accuracy for on-site personnel. Uphold safety requirements for all assigned projects and adhere to customer priority matrices and service level requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years experience with related project management experience or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in General Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Kitchen Equipment, and HVAC/Refrigeration commercial construction trades
- Preconstruction process experience, including site surveys and site walks, subcontractor/vendor selection, and preparation of budgets and client proposals
- Scheduling, purchasing, estimating experience, managing personnel, vendors, and subcontractors
- Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work some nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Ability to assess problems and create a scope of work for solutions
- Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft software suite
- Must have a state driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred
- Experience with PlanGrid and Bluebeam is a plus
