Job Summary
Manage overall direction, control, and execution of assigned projects while leading teams and building relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource plans; identify, track, and mitigate risks and changes. Lead meetings, document progress, and ensure clear communication. Oversee final inspections, systems commissioning, closeout documentation, punch lists, and warranty work to meet contractual obligations. Requires a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, plus 5 years of experience on large commercial projects. Must pass controlled substance tests.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of related experience working on large commercial projects
- Strong ability to manage teams, mentor staff, and resolve conflicts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Ability to think ahead, identify challenges, and implement creative solutions
- Understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost management
- Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to, and at all times, during employment
