Job Summary
Project Manager leading cross-functional software teams from discovery through launch and iteration. Manages end-to-end delivery across engagements, agile ceremonies, roadmaps, and iterative releases with measurable outcomes. Maintains regular client-facing interactions, translates business objectives into clear requirements and testable acceptance criteria, and coordinates with engineers, designers, and product leaders to ensure data readiness, explainability, governance, and quality delivery. Works on AI-native and data initiatives, AI tools integration, and regulated-domain projects; leverages agile practices and tools (Scrum/Kanban, Jira) to track milestones, risks, and delivery signals. Primarily remote with some on-site requirements in the greater Los Angeles area; compensation range $100,000–$160,000 and opportunities for new proposals, RFPs, and growth.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software product management / development experience in a consultancy/agency or product organization delivering custom software
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end delivery
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Experience with agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) and Jira
- Ability to translate business objectives into clear requirements and acceptance criteria
- Experience coordinating with engineering, design, and product teams
- Exposure to regulated domains (healthcare, government, fintech, edtech) is a plus
- Excellent written communication and ability to draft proposals, SOWs, and respond to client needs
- Comfort with AI and data-focused product initiatives
