Project Manager

Lead the Architectural Project Team through close collaboration with SOM Partners to achieve design, technical, and financial success. Prepare quality agreements with clients, including letters of intent and memoranda of understanding, while executing additional service agreements and gaining authorization by phase. Chair weekly team meetings to address variances from the project plan, administer internal control procedures with the Project Accountant, and analyze project reports to proactively manage profitability. Actively lead new business and marketing efforts, including responses to marketing requests and maintenance of firm relationships. Initiate and maintain project schedules, work plans, and financial performance metrics, while engaging in project risk management through close collaboration with Partners and the legal group. Directly supervise, train, and mentor team members, and demonstrate leadership in the implementation of sustainable strategies across all project assignments.
