Job Summary
Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of residential construction projects while managing subcontractor vendor scope reviews and project awards. Oversee work progress against plans and specifications, facilitate close-out processes including punch lists and financial reconciliation, and monitor financial positions through change orders and cost-to-complete estimates. Act as the primary point of contact for project communications, coordinate with owners and teams to resolve budget and timeline issues, and enforce jobsite safety and quality standards. Assist in pre-construction activities like budgeting and quantity take-offs, process trade contractor payments, and recruit and coach Assistant Project Managers. Maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, and engineers to secure new projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction, structural design, engineering, or commensurate work experience
- 5+ years of experience in the Construction industry, including project management
- 3+ years of experience managing construction project financial controls and project schedules
- Proficiency in reading and understanding plans and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Excel, Procore, and construction accounting software (Sage 300 and TimberScan)
- OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
