Job Summary
Manage the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System for the US Space Force, supporting the SATCOM war-fighting lead at Space Delta 8. Conduct daily operational support to manage DoD satellite communications capabilities across multiple CONUS and OCONUS sites. Provide presentations and oral briefings as needed, maintaining availability within two hours during duty hours and six hours after normal hours for any issues. Requires US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and 15 years of experience in project management and satellite communications.
Required Qualifications
- US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 15 years experience with a combination of Project Management, Project leadership, satellite communications, telecommunications
- Experience with presentations and oral briefings as needed
- During duty hours, contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within two (2) hours of initial contact (by phone, e-mail, or in person) for any issues
- After normal duty hours, the contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within six (6) hours of initial contact
