Job Summary
Manage the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System for Space Delta 8, providing day-to-day operational support for DoD satellite communications capabilities. Lead project management and project leadership efforts across multiple sites CONUS and OCONUS, including presentations and oral briefings as needed. Maintain availability within two hours during duty hours and six hours after normal duty hours for any issues. Requires US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 15 years of experience in satellite communications and telecommunications.
Required Qualifications
- US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 15 years experience with a combination of Project Management, Project leadership, satellite communications, telecommunications
- Experience with presentations and oral briefings as needed
- During duty hours, contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within two (2) hours of initial contact (by phone, e-mail, or in person) for any issues
- After normal duty hours, the contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within six (6) hours of initial contact
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
