Job Summary
Manage the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System for the US Space Force, supporting multiple sites CONUS and OCONUS. Provide day-to-day operational support to ensure DoD satellite communications capabilities remain functional. Maintain availability within two hours during duty hours and six hours after normal hours for any issues. Deliver presentations and oral briefings as needed. Requires US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 15 years of experience in project management, project leadership, satellite communications, and telecommunications. PMP certification is desired.
Required Qualifications
- US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 15 years experience with a combination of Project Management, Project leadership, satellite communications, telecommunications
- Experience with presentations and oral briefings as needed
- During duty hours, contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within two (2) hours of initial contact (by phone, e-mail, or in person) for any issues
- After normal duty hours, the contractor PM or designated representative shall be available within six (6) hours of initial contact
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
Additional Requirements
- Must have US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance
