Job Summary
Apply prescribed engineering methods to moderately complex land development and construction assignments. Manage the planning and design of multiple projects, coordinating with public and private clients while leading teams across simultaneous assignments. Participate in design meetings, present technical information, and oversee field activities including construction support, inspections, and site reviews. Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals to support contract negotiations, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and budget constraints. Requires a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer with 7+ years of civil design experience in Central Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering/science field
- 7+ years of civil design experience with a strong focus on land development, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects in Central Texas
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas
- Strong knowledge of city, county, and utility project standards, permitting processes, and design regulations
- Valid Texas driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a client-first approach
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer
