Job Summary
Project Manager to oversee the fulfilment of equipment and system orders placed in North America, from receipt of order to customer site acceptance test; collaborate with sales, operations, engineering, and service to deliver equipment on time and within budget; create and maintain project management artifacts and communicate directly with customers; drive project scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables, and manage cross-functional teams with KPI-focused reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required (engineering or other technical degree preferred)
- PMI/PMP certification is a plus
- Technical certifications in Microsoft O365, SharePoint, Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI, D365 CE, D365 ERP, etc. are a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or engineering
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration with stakeholders
- Experience with packaging, automation, or industrial products is a plus
- Able to understand bid specifications, test reports, and other technical documents
- Ability to manage multiple complex programs / projects simultaneously
- Detail oriented; leverages KPIs and metrics to drive improvements
- Sense of urgency; has a bias for action
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate to all levels within the company and achieve alignment between groups with different priorities
- Travel requirements up to 25%
- Ability to represent Signode when interfacing with customers, suppliers, and salespersons
- Occasional travel outside of normal business hours in urgent situations
