Job Summary
Project Manager (Self-Perform) to lead Barton Malow's self-performed construction activities on a mission-critical project near Philadelphia, PA. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing craft personnel, field supervision, and resources; ensuring safety, quality, and productive execution while aligning with project budget and schedule. On-site leadership includes developing and managing self-perform work plans, workforce loading, equipment needs, productivity tracking, and sequencing; supporting internal estimating, budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis; coordinating procurement and submittals; assisting in project controls, scheduling, turnover documentation (as-builts, O&M manuals, closeout), and providing mentoring to field supervisors and trades professionals. Requires strong technical construction knowledge, proactive safety and quality discipline, and effective liaison with clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
- 5–8 years of relevant construction experience
- Proven experience leading field teams, craft labor, and construction supervision
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, productivity tracking, and field execution
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred
- Willingness to travel as required, with the majority of time on-site
