Job Summary
Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning through closeout, including pre-award meetings, contract writing, scheduling, budgeting, and expediting shop drawings and submittals. Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and project budgets using a standard cost code system while coordinating with Accounting and Estimating. Lead design-build efforts for specific projects, direct Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, and prepare minutes for regular job meetings with owners and subcontractors. Establish project folders for Superintendents, maintain CMiC software data, and provide cost projections versus estimated costs. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within quality expectations, then deliver close-out documents including warranties and punch-lists.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Ten years plus of practical experience in the construction industry
- five to six years' experience in a project management or conceptual estimating position
- Willingness to travel
