Job Summary
Project Manager for security integration leading multi-project oversight from kickoff through commissioning. Responsible for meeting installation standards, delivering projects on time and within budget, training and developing the team, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement. Key duties include coordinating with Owner, GC, and subcontractors; refining BOMs and issuing purchase orders; ensuring insurance, safety, and OSHA compliance; managing change orders and RFI processes; preparing submittals (MDS, shop drawings, schedules, permits); coordinating software programming and training; supervising installation, quality control, and safety meetings; producing status reports; and delivering complete post-construction documentation (as-built drawings, commissioning sheets, programming matrix, O&M manuals, warranty letters). Must possess strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills and be proficient with relevant design/field software; OSHA and TX security license knowledge required; willing to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least 5 years of project management experience in general construction and/or specialty trade contracting industries
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Texas driver’s license and clean MVR
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage resources; make timely decisions
- Effective written and oral communication
- OSHA standards knowledge
- Security license through the Texas DPS
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe, BlueBeam
- Subject matter expert on installing/servicing access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems
- Basic IP networking knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Low Voltage industry certifications from ASIS, BICSI, ESA etc.
- Security license through the Texas Department of Public Safety (TEX DPS)
