Job Summary
Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master for Data & Analytics projects. Lead and coordinate complex technical initiatives across multiple workstreams, translating technical requirements into actionable plans and serving as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. Manage scope, schedules, risks, and resources while driving collaboration across software engineering, cloud transformation, and data integration teams. Maintain a light hands-on approach to technical problem-solving and quality assurance. Build strong client relationships, contribute to firm initiatives (recruiting, mentoring, and firm development), and leverage Agile delivery practices to support data, analytics, or software engineering teams. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5–8+ years of Agile experience, experience with DevOps/MLOps practices, and familiarity with modern architectures and tools like Lakehouse, vector search, semantic layers, Databricks, and Jira. Remote working options are available; location includes San Diego, CA with a focus on remote-friendly work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Advanced degree or certifications like CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe preferred)
- 5–8+ years in Agile delivery roles supporting data, analytics, or software engineering teams
- Hands-on experience implementing DevOps or MLOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, observability, incident response) for AI/ML workloads
- Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of modern architectures (Lakehouse, vector search, semantic layers) and tools such as Databricks and Jira
