Job Summary
Manage operational and technical aspects of program activity, coordinating with the Program Manager to oversee schedule, scope, quality, and cost. Lead and facilitate agile practices including stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives while directing team member activities. Plan, organize, and guide the end-to-end project management process for technology and software development projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and organizational requirements. Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, and publishing progress reports, while preparing technical reports and collaborating with senior-level client leadership. Serve as a Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Lead to ensure team adherence to best practices and promote Agile quality across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Scrum Master or Agile certification required within 90 days of hire (e.g. CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)
- Background check with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required
- Proven experience leading dynamic teams
- Strong Proficiency with MS Project and other scheduling tools
- Demonstrated experience serving in a Scrum Master role within an Agile delivery environment
- Experience managing projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for Agile project and program management (preferred)
- Experience managing project costs, schedule, and scope
- Ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team, attract recruits, and retain highly qualified staff
- Must possess strong leadership and organizational skills
- Detailed knowledge of agile processes, ceremonies, and tools
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating comfort in coordinating a large agile team
- Strong communication skills- verbal, written, listening, and presentation
- Travel may be required for special projects. (CONUS, OCONUS)
Desired Qualifications
- Project management certification preferred (e.g., PMP)
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for Agile project and program management (preferred)
