Job Summary
Project Manager leading cross-functional aerospace/tech programs within the PMO. Responsible for planning, coordinating, schedule execution, risk/issue management, and milestone readiness (SRR, PDR, CDR, FWR, FLO) across avionics, payload, ground systems, structures, testing, and mission operations. Drive execution through the project plan, manage RAID logs, maintain documentation and requirements traceability in Confluence/Jira, and support continuous improvement of PMO processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience managing complex projects, with strong scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder-management skills; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project; ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority. Preferred PMP or Agile certification and experience in aerospace/high-tech environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience managing complex technical or operational projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and move work forward without direct authority
- Strong scheduling, planning, and risk management experience
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project (or equivalent tools)
- High ownership mindset — proactive, organized, able to anticipate needs and remove roadblocks
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
