Job Summary
Project Manager for San Francisco-based corporate events and conferences. Owns full life-cycle planning and execution across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats, including budgeting, vendor and site management, registration, catering, A/V, speaker coordination, and post-event reconciliation. Collaborates with internal partners across marketing, production, events technology, data, and legal/compliance. Requires travel for on-site management and site inspections; adept at coordinating multi-stakeholder programs, ensuring adherence to client standards, and delivering high-quality event experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years’ event management experience
- Experience in corporate/financial environments
- Experience managing senior clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects
- Virtual event experience preferred (Webex/Zoom)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Willingness to travel for site visits and on-site management
- Knowledge of venues and suppliers in key US cities
- Cvent experience preferred
