Job Summary
Coordinate all planning project review processes and serve as liaison for customers and County departments to disseminate information regarding ongoing projects. Administer short- and long-range planning projects, performing reviews of rezonings, variances, and site plan applications while providing recommendations. Respond to public and stakeholder inquiries about zoning ordinances, explain technical information, and present findings to county officials. Coordinate public hearing processes, including legal ads and signage, and provide monthly status reports to the Planning Director. Attend Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings, work on special projects from concept to closeout, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Public Administration, Planning, or a closely related field
- Three (3) or more years of experience in project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Professional(PMP) Certification
- Requires a valid Georgia Driver's License
