Job Summary
Manage assigned electrical projects from award through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery while meeting scope and quality specifications. Develop execution plans, risk paths, and milestone schedules; allocate resources; and coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Lead project meetings, process change orders, and maintain comprehensive documentation including risk registers and safety plans. Manage expenditures, align man-hour projections, and process accounts receivable/payable to maintain cashflow. Communicate progress and expectations to clients and senior management, identify staffing needs, and conduct post-mortems to drive improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Business or a related field
- At least 3 – 5 years’ experience managing medium to large full cycle construction projects
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening including professional reference checks and a criminal record check
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- Experience with electric utility clients
- Experience executing EPC projects
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse team in a dynamic, dead-line oriented environment
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, HardDollar and ViewPoint Construction Software
