Job Summary
Project Manager to lead restaurant construction projects, providing leadership and oversight, collaborating with Preconstruction to estimate and plan, reading and interpreting restaurant-specific construction plans, mentoring junior PM staff, developing relationships with Owners/Architects/Engineers/Subcontractors, procuring subcontractors and vendors, reviewing scope of work, managing conflicts and discrepancies in drawings, handling submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, owner billings, and monthly reports, ensuring accurate financial projections and cost management, and maintaining project schedules for timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications or substantial project management experience may substitute for education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management for restaurant construction
- Proficient understanding of construction methods and building systems specific to hospitality/restaurant sector
- Strong financial management and project oversight abilities; track record of managing projects from inception to completion
