Job Summary
Drive consistent project delivery through the entire lifecycle, managing plans, releases, resource allocation, and risks for enterprise modernization initiatives. Coordinate Agile Ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives while tracking progress from schedule, cost, and risk perspectives. Establish effective team environments by removing obstacles, protecting teams from interruptions, and fostering strong relationships with product owners and stakeholders. Help manage product backlogs, ensure adherence to Agile, Waterfall, and VITA principles, and promote continuous improvement to increase productivity. Work within the Project & Product Delivery portfolio supporting digital transformation for federal, commercial, and state customers using AWS, Azure, and DevOps.
Required Qualifications
- Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Documented risk management experience
- Completion of a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth project of $5M or more
- Completion of non-COV project with a value greater than $10M as PM of record
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models
- Expert knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices
- Ability to work with customers, understand their business practices and manage their expectations
- Ability to set clear performance standards and hold team members accountable
- Ability to help Product Owners to create and prioritize Product Backlog
- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to analyze and document business and system processes
- Ability to balance the competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost
- Well-versed with Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies
- Hybrid (3 Days weekly)
