Job Summary
Lead a Renewable Energy team while building and managing relationships with key clients in Memphis, TN. Coordinate or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure project needs and objectives are met. Provide vision, business planning, and strategy to establish goals and grow the land development practice. Operate with integrity, maintain open communication with partners, and mentor staff to manage projects profitably. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing renewable energy or related projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for renewable energy projects
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, and/or GIS
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
