Job Summary
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver client projects within scope, budget, and schedule by creating and managing project plans using Microsoft Project or approved tools. Control scope, budget, and activities while regularly tracking status, conducting status meetings, and generating client-facing reports. Manage risk, change, and issue registers, facilitating discussions to resolve blockers and escalating matters to stakeholders as needed. Plan project activities with clients, collaborate with internal staff, and create monthly forecasts for executive management. Facilitate Executive Steering Committee meetings and prepare presentation materials. Manage periodic travel to client locations within the US.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience with increasing scope of responsibility
- Experience in crafting project proposals, developing work estimates and project schedules related to a fixed support budget and enhancements
- Experience in project planning and control of ongoing support and maintenance of projects
- Experience tracking, managing and escalating issues through to resolution
- Experience with the identification and mitigation of project risk
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of internal and client staff and management
- Ability to effectively communicate and articulate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Proficiency with tools that facilitate and promote team interaction and collaboration (e.g., Skype for Business, WebEx, Basecamp, SharePoint)
- Strong interpersonal and management skills with an excellent attention to detail
- A strong ethical foundation, capable of thriving in an environment and culture where honesty, integrity, and accountability are core values
- A collaborative spirit, a team orientation, and a willingness and desire to contribute to the success of others
- The position may involve periodic travel to client locations within the US
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience managing projects in any of the following functional area is a plus but not required: Health and Human Services, Higher Education, Utilities, Probation, and Healthcare
- Experience managing projects involving data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and IoT is a plus, but not required

- Ability to focus on high quality work under pressure
- PMP certification is a plus, but not required
