Job Summary
Lead end-to-end service delivery for real estate construction projects by interfacing with clients, consultants, and general contractors. Manage project schedules and budgets, review construction work-in-place, and approve capital expenditure spends. Plan, organize, and control project delivery on time while leading stakeholder meetings and managing the risk register. Monitor construction costs, issue client reports, and validate quality control formats for civil works. Advocate for the client during disputes and change orders, oversee project closeout documentation, and lead value engineering sessions. Ensure equipment aligns with the schedule and maintain awareness of health and environmental safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience as a project manager
- Sector experience e.g. corporate occupier, retail, real estate
- Experience in commissioning
- Engineering or architectural degree with chartered status
- Fluent in English and Spanish at a working level to lead meetings, prepare reports and written communication, do presentations and talk to clients and suppliers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project mandatory
- Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Have a good knowledge and awareness of Health and Environmental Safety in construction
- Be an effective communicator, both verbal and written
- Be a self-starter and a team player
- Demonstrable track record in the delivery of relevant projects
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations
- Have an elevated sense of quality, and lead quality control action
- Collaborative approach, be client facing, able to develop strong relationships, confidently present to clients and stakeholders
- Be assertive and detail orientated, to identify potential issues early and raise them in the appropriate forum for resolution
Desired Qualifications
- PMI or equivalent certification is a plus
- BIM is a plus
