Job Summary
Lead the delivery of MEPHFC systems works for the Old Oak Common HS2 gateway station, owning programme, budget, quality, and safety outcomes from inception to design completion. Manage multi-disciplinary design teams and coordinate engineering activities with commercial, procurement, and construction functions to drive progress and resolve issues. Prepare project documentation, secure procurement approvals, and oversee NEC3 contract administration, including change management and risk mitigation. Champion health and safety culture, conduct site tours, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Report on KPIs and governance structures to senior management while engaging stakeholders to meet business objectives. Based three days a week in London offices.
Required Qualifications
- Rail, complex infrastructure or systems experience
- Significant experience in project management, with a demonstrable track record of leading and successfully delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Proven experience of leading, developing and line managing project teams
- Strong NEC3 contract management experience
- at least 3 years acting as Project Manager or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- General knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations
- Capable of building collaborative relationships
- Excellent commercial and financial knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
- Knowledge of NR/L2/OHS/0047
- Right to work in the UK
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered membership (e.g. ChPP) of the Association for Project Management or other relevant professional body
- A degree or equivalent
