Job Summary
Lead planning, directing, and coordinating high-voltage electric transmission and distribution construction projects across the country. Manage projected budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors while ensuring costs remain within forecasted ranges. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, submit billing packages, and oversee subcontractor agreements and documentation. Monitor quality, resolve construction issues, and present updates to executive leadership and stakeholders. Mentor assistant project managers and coordinate staffing adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in high-voltage electric transmission and distribution or inside commercial, industrial electrical construction or a related field
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, switch directions as needed, and demonstrate adaptability
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or business, or a related field
- Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings

- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP)
