Job Summary
Oversee multiple heavy civil and public infrastructure projects in Reston, VA, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and compliance with contract requirements and public agency standards. Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation; monitor project performance; develop budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes; ensure accurate billing; identify opportunities to improve project profitability; interpret and manage contracts, plans, specifications, and public agency requirements; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, municipalities, and public agencies; build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat work and future opportunities; participate in progress meetings, presentations, and communications.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, sequencing, and logistics
- Proficiency in cost control systems and construction management software
- Deep understanding of public contracts, specifications, and compliance requirement
- Experience working on public contracts (1-3 years)
- Experience with creating/managing schedules (1-3 years)
- Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
