Project Manager / Project Coordinator – Pharmaceutical Environment

Job Summary
Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously while developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, and action trackers. Monitor deliverables, deadlines, risks, issues, and project dependencies, then organize meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and follow up on action items. Collaborate with business, technical, clinical, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective communication across geographically distributed teams. Maintain accurate project documentation and status reports using tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Excel, while identifying potential blockers and escalating risks or delays when necessary. This freelance role supports initiative delivery within an international pharmaceutical environment for HCL Technologies, starting in September 2026 with three days per week in the Prague office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field
- At least 4 years of relevant project management or project coordination experience
- Proven experience managing or coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, such as JIRA, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare clear project documentation, reports, and meeting records
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams
- Proactive approach to tracking deadlines, resolving issues, and following up on deliverables
- Professional working proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Previous project management or coordination experience within the pharmaceutical, clinical research, life sciences, or healthcare industry
- Familiarity with regulated or validated environments
- Experience with industry-specific platforms such as Veeva Vault
- PMP, CAPM, or another recognized project management certification
- Experience working with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies
