Job Summary
Lead day-to-day project and contract activities for the U.S. Department of Education's Impact Aid Grant System, serving as the primary point of contact for the Government. Coordinate project schedules, resources, and deliverables while facilitating meetings and providing status updates. Monitor progress, budgets, and timelines to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring full compliance with federal standards and contractual requirements. Collaborate with technical teams and government stakeholders to support continuous process improvement initiatives within an Agile environment. Requires PMP certification, 10+ years of federal IT project management experience, and a Moderate Risk background investigation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of IT project management experience
- PMP certification
- Experience supporting federal government projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk (MR) Background Investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience with IV&V or federal system oversight projects
