Project Manager - Professional Land Surveyor

Job Summary
Lead surveying operations in Indianapolis by identifying, recruiting, and training field and office technical associates in proper surveying methodologies. Coordinate with crews, technicians, and discipline leads to establish project responsibilities, priorities, and milestones while managing quality control programs and established policies. Drive business growth in the region through strong client communication and priority determination. Manage infrastructure projects for state and local agencies, including INDOT, utilizing project estimating, budgets, and resource management. Requires Indiana Professional Land Surveyor licensure, a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, and five years of post-licensure experience. Required Qualifications
- Registration in good standing as an Indiana Professional Land Surveyor
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geomatics
- 5 years of post-licensure experience
- Minimum of 5 years managing/surveying infrastructure projects supporting state and local government agencies including Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)
- Familiarity and experience in using MicroStation
- Outstanding communication skills
- Understanding how to provide overall client/project management
- A professional and courteous approach to management
- An understanding of project estimating, budgets, and resource management
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Licensure in adjoining states, including Illinois and Ohio
- The ability to gain licensure
- 5 years managing/surveying infrastructure projects supporting state and local government agencies including Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)
- Familiarity and experience in using MicroStation
- Expected continuous improvement of project workflows, creating efficiencies through innovation and technology
- Having a good understanding of business
