Job Summary
The Construction Project Manager will plan, manage, and supervise construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, developing estimates, schedules, budgets, and work plans. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients; monitor progress; review contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders; ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies; manage project costs and approve invoices; conduct site meetings and provide regular status reports; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; resolve issues, conflicts, and delays. Needs strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, proficiency in project management software, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; willingness to travel to job sites and work extended hours. The role operates in a combined office and field environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction
- Preferably 3 – 5 years experience in Estimation, Bidding, or Project Management
- Experience with commercial or industrial construction
- OSHA safety training
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in project management software
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- May require travel to job sites and extended hours
