Project Manager - Power Evacuation

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end execution of power evacuation infrastructure for large-scale solar projects, including AIS/GIS substations, bays, and transmission lines up to 220 kV+. Develop L1-L3 schedules, manage EPC contractor performance across scope, schedule, quality, and safety KPIs, and direct site-level civil, electrical, and structural works. Oversee testing and commissioning of HV equipment (protection systems, SCADA, grid interfacing) and drive grid compliance testing per CEA/CERC norms. Monitor budgets, identify risks, and implement mitigation to prevent delays. Requires 15+ years of experience, B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, and a proven track record delivering 200+ MW evacuation projects. Must possess strong leadership, multi-site coordination, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and substation layouts. Location is Pune, India, with on-site presence; role is full-time with opportunities across large-scale renewable energy projects.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
- 15+ years of experience in power evacuation for renewable or utility-scale projects
- Proven track record delivering projects of 200+ MW capacity including evacuation infrastructure
- Strong command over AIS/GIS substation and transmission line construction methodologies
- Expert knowledge of commissioning protocols, grid compliance testing, and performance validation
- High proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and substation layouts
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site contractors and multidisciplinary teams with strong leadership skills
