Job Summary
Project Manager (PMO) responsible for piloting retrofit projects in electrical and cooling systems within data center environments. Manage CAPEX projects from needs gathering with Operations, through technical analysis, specification writing, budgeting, supplier and contractor coordination, and bid participation. Oversees execution studies, planning, milestones, critical paths, and commissioning, with regular coordination with European Reliability/Technical experts. Roles include balancing electrical and cooling scopes (roughly 50% electrical, 50% cooling), occasional involvement in structural topics, and reporting to Operations and cross-functional teams; requires technical training in electricity and/or mechanical disciplines, 3+ years in technical project management, familiarity with electrical and cooling systems, process automation is a plus, and professional English for internal Europe-wide communications.
Required Qualifications
- Formation technique électricité et/ou mécanique (BTS, DUT, licence, ingénieur – ouvert)
- 3 ans d’expérience minimum en gestion de projets techniques
- Expérience projet privilégiée (plus que pure maintenance)
- Bonne compréhension des systèmes électriques (UPS, HT/BT) et refroidissement (groupes froids, ventilation, réseaux)
- Anglais professionnel (niveau Europe)
- Maîtrise des outils Excel / planification (MS Project ou équivalent)
