Job Summary
PMO Specialist (Project Manager role) for Defence/major programmes, based in Bristol with hybrid client-site work; lead planning & scheduling, risk, benefits, and budgets; tailor P3M processes to project context; create insightful reports to guide decisions; manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change; maintain client relationships and provide regular status updates; mentor junior team members; requires 2+ years PMO/PMO consulting experience and a Bachelor's degree; advanced PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) highly desirable; sole British nationality is required; role involves working with secure clients and on-site client engagement about 2 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) highly desirable
- Sole British nationality is a must
- At least 2 years' experience in project management consulting/PMO or related roles
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall and tailoring PM approaches to client contexts
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior members
