Job Summary

Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, provincially scoped healthcare transformation initiatives, managing complex digital health projects from conception to completion. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, physicians, and senior leadership to develop project plans, execute risk strategies, and drive process improvements that enhance patient care and safety. Execute change management activities using structured methodologies like ADKAR while developing comprehensive communication strategies to align diverse stakeholder groups with provincial healthcare priorities. Monitor project performance, report on progress and risks, and ensure all initiatives strictly adhere to privacy compliance frameworks without handling Personal Health Information. This fully remote contract role supports the transformation of healthcare delivery through advanced ICT systems, focusing on community, primary care, and cardiovascular health outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Valid Prosci ADKAR Change Management Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Health Administration, Information Technology)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing information systems and operational transformation projects
  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple complex projects (minimum 3 examples required)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading healthcare initiatives focused on: Process improvement, Patient safety, Direct impact on patient care
  • At least 5 years of experience working with large, diverse clinical stakeholder groups (50+), including: Frontline clinicians, Physicians, Senior management, Executive leadership
  • Experience delivering provincial-scale transformation projects
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing: Communication strategies, Change management plans, Key messaging for large-scale organizational change
  • Experience in children's healthcare is required for at least one project
  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading community health and primary care initiatives focused on improving healthcare outcomes
  • At least 1 year of experience in cardiovascular health projects, including: Strategic planning, Project execution and delivery
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced communication and facilitation abilities
  • Expertise in change management methodologies (ADKAR preferred)
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on healthcare outcomes
  • Ability to manage complexity in large-scale, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on quality and accountability
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
