Job Summary
Lead multiple capital projects from planning through execution and close-out, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities across a potash mining operation. Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Direct contractors and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, and monitor progress, quality, costs, and resource requirements. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, preparing reports and forecasts for stakeholders. Review engineering designs for compliance and conduct close-outs to capture lessons learned. Requires 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in mining or heavy industrial settings, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering as an asset. Located at the Potash Mine near Saskatoon, SK.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Experience managing capital projects in an industrial environment
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Experience with SAP, Primavera P6, Oracle, or other project management software
- Previous underground mining or potash experience
