Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of HVAC/Mechanical construction projects, excluding manpower coordination, by conducting project head-start meetings with estimators and finalizing proposals, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate procurement, submittal approvals, and equipment buyouts while preparing RFIs, change orders, and monthly work-in-progress projections. Manage project closeouts, secure punch list completion, and handle retention billing. Review job costs and schedules of values to ensure profitability and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in HVAC/Mechanical construction, 4–6 years of project management experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience in HVAC/Mechanical construction
- A minimum of 4–6 years of project management experience in HVAC/Mechanical systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of HVAC/Mechanical construction processes and systems
- Proficiency in project management software, as well as tools like AutoCAD and Revit
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Clean driving record required
- Expertise in coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ability to proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks
- Strong focus on maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to deadlines
- Effective leadership to guide project teams and stakeholders
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
