Project Manager - Pipeline Construction

Job Summary
Administer prime contracts, subcontracts, work orders, and change orders while managing resources from start to finish within budget. Coordinate schedules, shop drawings, and material deliveries with assistant project managers, coordinators, supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives and timely completion. Conduct weekly progress meetings with the Senior Project Manager to report subcontractor status, field personnel alignment, and facilitate action plans. Forecast job costs, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives while enforcing policies and coaching the team. Resolve operational problems, implement improvements, and manage project closeouts including lien waivers. Maintain a mandatory focus on safety performance and comply with technical, safety, and legal requirements across NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, and WV operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in construction project management capacity
- Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used for this role
- Prior management and supervision skills
- High sense of integrity
- Sound written and verbal communications skills
- Valid active Driver's License
- Ability to travel within area of operations (NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, WV)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Preference to pipeline construction
- Experience with any scheduling software, MS Projects, BlueBeam and B2W
