Job Summary
Project Manager sought to join Strata on a 6-12 month fixed-term contract, implanting within a pharmaceutical client. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects and deadlines, partnering with internal project leaders to establish event requirements, developing event briefs for suppliers, overseeing congresses, standalone pharma meetings, ad boards and product launches across procurement/marketing/legal/compliance/brand teams, multitasking to meet internal expectations, managing stakeholder and supplier relationships, creating and maintaining a granular project planner, and negotiating with suppliers to meet SLAs and favorable contractual terms. Global venue knowledge is desirable; duties include overseeing venue searches, leading client site visits, ensuring paperwork is supplied in the required format, and acting as gatekeeper for compliance and high standards. Required experience includes 2-3 years in a pharmaceutical events role, experience with regional (EMEA) events in person/hybrid/virtual, delegate management and registration tools (e.g., Cvent), collaboration with third-party suppliers, and familiarity with EFPIA/ABPI guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical events role
- Experience working on a range of regional (EMEA) face to face, hybrid and virtual events preferred
- Experience of delegate management and knowledge of registration processes/tools e.g. Cvent
- Experience working with third party suppliers
- An understanding of pharmaceutical compliance codes desired (EFPIA, ABPI)
