Job Summary
Manage and execute projects for the Department of Defense and Department of Energy, coordinating from conceptual stages through contract closeout. Direct project personnel responsible for environmental remediation, demolition, waste handling, and site restoration while ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations including OSHA and HAZWOPER. Oversee contract deliverables, budgets, schedules, and change orders to meet project objectives within budget and safety standards. Serve as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulators, resolving production issues and managing claims. Requires a B.S. degree, 10 years of supervisory experience in environmental remediation, and 30-hour OSHA and 40-hour HAZWOPER certifications.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering, science, or related technical field
- Strong computer skills and the ability to use various computer programs on a daily basis including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Ability to travel as necessary to manage projects
- Prefer 10 years of experience supervising and managing projects (both radiological and no radiological) related to environmental remediation, demolition and hazardous materials
- Ability to anticipate, investigate and resolve project production issues. This includes client complaint resolution, project health and safety issues, and project personnel administration
- 30 hour OSHA Construction Safety
- 40 hour HAZWOPER plus 8 hour Supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering, science, or related technical field (preferred)
- Desirable 40 hour Asbestos Abatement Worker plus 8 hour Supervisor
